In This paper,a new andytical model is used to study the influence of misorientedmicrocracks on stiffness and strength of prolate spe roid-rei nforced composite material witheighst rain. The interaction b etween microcracks and prolate spheroids is analysed usingequlvalent inclusion method and the stress field, constitutive relation and the critical failurecondition are given.
