平行涡管三维合并的直接数值模拟

THE DIRECT NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF THREE DIMENSIONAL MERGER FOR TWO PARALLEL VORTEX TUBES

  • 摘要: 采用拟谱方法求解Navier-Stokes方程,对两个同向平行涡管的三维合并过程进行了直接数值模拟,分析了它的不同于二维合并的“缠绕式”特性.特别地,对在合并过程中产生的垂直于初始涡管方向的非主体涡量的意义和物理机制进行了探讨.

     

    Abstract: By direct numerical simulation of Navier-Stokes Equations, we investigate the three-dimensional merger of two perturbed parallel vortex tubes in this paper. The pseudo-spectral method is used. It is found that the three dimensional merger takes place in the manner of twinning similar to helical pairing. It is worthy of special mention that the concentration of vorticity occurs in non-axial x and y directitions its maximum value can reach even more than 30 percent of the initial peak vorticity and it...
