APPLICATION OF FRACTURE MECHANICS AND BEM TO STRAIN LOCALIZATION PROBLEMS IN A FINITE BODY

  • 摘要: 微裂纹模型是研究砂土变形中应变局部化问题的微观力学模型。本文在前文的基础上建立了有限平面的徽裂纹模型的基本方程。数值解析表明,微裂纹模型可再现应变局部化及应变软化现象。同时,本文简要地讨论了边界约束、尺寸效应及侧压对应变局部化的影响。

     

    Abstract: The microslip model is a new approach to the mechanism of strain localization in sand deformation. As an extension of the previous study Mechanics of Materials 8 (1989)89-102 , the paper presents a mathematical formulation of the microslip model with boundary constraints, based on the method of pseudo-tractions and the boundary element methol.
