Abstract: In this paper the generalized characteristic of centered simple wave in elastic body is studied. Then characteristic method is employd to solve the wave reflection at boundary of half space. Reflection coefficients and amplifications of velocity components of P-wave and S-wave are expressed in close form and their three-dimensional diagrams are also given.
