Free vibration of the piezoelectric-elastic laminatedbeams is studied by combining the state-space method and differentialquadrature method. The state equations are dispersed at every sample pointby using the differential quadrature technique to obtain the solutions. Theconvergence of the present method is also studied by choosing differentnumber of sample points. The obtained results are validated to show that thedeveloped method is convenient for vibration analysis ofpiezoelectric-elastic laminated beams.
