  • Numerical results on the interaction between the compressible streamwise vortices and shockwaves were presented in this paper.Two cases were discussed including a moving shockwave interacting with a vortex and a Mach disc at the exit of an overexpanded nozzle interacting with the vortex in the swirling jet.
