A general dispersion equation for Lamb waves in anarbitrary direction was derived in an isotropic hyperelastic plate subjectedto orthogonal static stresses with wavelet analysis. The relationship amongLamb wave velocity, orthogonal static stresses and frequency was analyzed inthe present study. In addition, we discussed the relationship between Lambwave velocity and uniaxial static stress with numerical method. The resultsprovides the theoretical basis for Lamb wave applied to the stressmeasurement in thin plate.
