论可压缩平板边界层线性稳定性的分歧

ON THE DISPUTE WITH REGARD TO VISCOUS LINEAR STABILITY OF COMPRESSIBLE BOUNDARY LAYER FLOW OVER FLAT PLATE

  • 摘要: Mack和Wazzan关于可压缩平板边界层线性稳定性结论的主要分歧在于来流马赫数对粘性稳定性的影响.本文充分考虑了空气热力学参数的影响,并用配置点方法计算了绝热平板时间模式特征值问题.数值结果表明粘性对第一模式只起稳定作用,M=3粘性第二模式总是稳定的,结论和Mack一致

     

    Abstract: The major dispute between Mack's and Wazzan's results of the linear instability for flat plate boundary layer lies in the effect of free stream Mach number on the viscous instability. In the paper, taking influence of the air thermodynamic properties into account a temporal eigenvalue problem of an adiabatic flat plate is calculated by a collocation technique.
