动力刚化问题的实验研究

EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATION ON DYNAMIC STIFFENING PHENOMENON

  • 摘要: 针对当前柔性多体系统动力学的热点问题------动力刚化现象进行了相关的实验研究,以大量文献中研究过的旋转悬臂梁为实验对象,验证了理论分析中的一些结论:在某些高速旋转情况下,传统零次近似模型在计算梁的横向振动响应时会产生错误的结论,而柔性梁实际的横向振动是稳定的,其振动频率随着转速的增加而升高,即所谓的动力刚化现象. 进一步的定量分析表明,实验得到横向振动响应与一次近似耦合模型所预测的结果基本一致,说明了该模型的正确性和有效性.

     

    Abstract: The study on ``dynamic stiffening'' is currently a focusin the field of flexible multibody system dynamics. A lot of valuableresearches have been done to account for ``dynamic stiffening'' viamathematical model and numerical simulation. However, to one'ssurprise, never had experimental investigations on this problem beenreported. This paper presents experimental investigation on ``dynamicstiffening'' phenomenon. The experiment is based on the prototype of arotating cantilever beam that is often used to discuss the effects of``dynamic stiffening''. The experimental investigation is conducted on asingle-axis air-bearing testbed. A theory model incorporating theeffects of both viscous damping and air drag force is also developedfor the purpose of comparison with experimental results. The phenomenonof ``dynamic stiffening'' is verified by the results of experiment. Thevalidation of the proposed model is confirmed by the experiment, too.
